ESPRO's PF3 and HPF3-series PTFE/UPE membrane filter cartridges are designed for specialized filtration in both liquid and gas applications, offering exceptionally low metal extractables and compatibility with aggressive chemicals. These filters feature a unique dual-media construction with hydrophobic (PF3) and hydrophilic (HPF3) PTFE membranes combined with UPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene), ensuring superior performance in demanding environments.
The PF3-series utilizes a hydrophobic PTFE/UPE membrane, making it ideal for filtering benzene, toluene, organic solvents, and other corrosive liquids. Its unique media construction ensures excellent chemical resistance, while maintaining low pressure drop and high flow rates, suitable for liquid and gas filtration up to 70ºC.
The HPF3-series, with a hydrophilic PTFE/UPE membrane, is specifically designed for aqueous solutions, corrosive liquids, and wet process chemicals. It provides excellent filtration efficiency, low extractables, and superior chemical compatibility, making it ideal for high-purity processes.
Both the PF3 and HPF3 filters are constructed with HDPE (high-density polyethylene) support, end caps, cage, and core, offering strong chemical resistance and ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments. This construction also supports filtration processes where temperature limits of up to 70ºC are required.
